ISA Guangzhou Foreign Language School Diploma Programme is the first public school-international International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in Guangzhou, a joint venture between Guangzhou Foreign Language School and ISA International Education Group. The programme adheres to the advanced education philosophy of both the foreign school and the lB programme and is dedicated to educating the whole person so that students become lifelong learners. The programme is run by a professional teaching faculty and advisory team which will prepare the students for entry in the world's best universities.
In the university applications of the first two graduating classes, GZFLS IBDP students achieved outstanding results. In 2025, the third cohort of IBDP students continued to shine, reaping abundant rewards! GZFLS IBDP students have been accepted to world-renowned institutions such as the University of Cambridge, University College London, UC Berkeley, the National University of Singapore, and the University of Hong Kong.
Among the 2025 graduating class (the third cohort), 88% received offers from top 30 universities worldwide; 92% from top 50; and 100% from top 100. On average, each student received nearly 10 offers, with total scholarships exceeding US$5.5 million. These offers include prestigious institutions such as UCLA, UC Berkeley, Imperial College London, UCL, NUS, NTU, the University of Hong Kong, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
The 2025 graduating class of 59 students received 21 offers from the University of Hong Kong—more than one-third of the class. According to publicly available data, this admission rate ranks first in Guangdong Province. Notably, several students were admitted to highly competitive programs, including the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education (Language Education – English) double degree program at HKU (which admits only 17 students annually), the International Business and Global Management program (with only 25 spots for the 2025 cohort), and the HKU Faculty of Medicine.
